Desired Qualifications:
- Current or eligible state special education teaching certification
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher is preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering a positive, supportive environment for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based instruction and modify curriculum as needed
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Advocate for students’ needs in meetings with staff and families
- Utilize data to guide instructional strategies and interventions
- Foster social, emotional, and academic growth for students with varying exceptionalities
