Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Talladega AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support daily operations with professionalism teamwork and integrity while contributing to a caring reliable and innovative culture that puts people first.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify identification and/or authorization when required and document security-related incidents observations and daily activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions maintaining a visible presence and reporting policy violations maintenance concerns and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
