Job Description:
This position will work with Production and perform Shipping & Receiving duties. The primary role will be to aid production in packaging. When not needed in production, the job will be performing Shipping & Receiving duties. This will include picking orders from the warehouse and shipping them out. When not assisting in production or working in shipping & receiving, this position is expected to maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
Production:
• Shrink wrap product.
• Label product.
• Box product.
• Palletize product.
• Wrap pallet for shipping.
Shipping & Receiving:
• Pick, Pack, & Ship Orders.
• Communicate with Sales the sales department regarding their sales.
• Receive & verify shipments.
• Place item labels on received products
General:
• Sweep the warehouse.
• Take out production, warehouse, & kitchen trash daily.
• Cut Pallets as needed for partial pallets and for trash.
• Monthly change the air conditioner filters.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
The candidate should:
• be detailed oriented.
• take pride in the accuracy of their work.
• have the ability to complete repetitive tasks with the same precise attention to detail from start to finish.
• have the ability to stand for 8 hrs
• have the ability to lift 30 lbs on a regular basis.
• have the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• have the ability to complete tasks in an orderly and timely fashion.
• have the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced production setting.
• have the ability to read a ruler.
• have Basic math skills.
• have the willingness to do basic shop “house cleaning” and other various tasks as needed.
Hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Paid Time Off
Year 1 earn 0.5 days per month, Year 2 earn 1 day per month, years 3+ earn 1.5 days per month.
*If hired as a temp-to-hire, we back count the days to the day you started with us via the temp agency once you are hired on directly.
7 Holidays Off – Company Paid
• New Year’s Day - January 1st
• Mardi Gras Day – varies based on when Easter falls.
• Memorial Day - the last Monday in May
• Independence Day - July 4th
• Labor Day - the first Monday in September
• Thanksgiving Day - 4th Thursday in November
• Christmas Day - December 25th
• Your Birthday Off – Company Paid
* For temp-to-hire, RTI does not pay for company holidays.
Insurance:
RTI will provide health insurance to cover the employee. All employee insurance policies should begin on the 1st day of the month following the employee’s hire/rehire date. (Ex. Hire date = 3/7/2025; Insurance start date = 4/1/2025)
RTI will cover the employee’s insurance premium for the items below. Employees may add spouses/family to the insurance plan; however, the employee is responsible for additional premiums.

*For insurance purposes if hired as a temp-to-hire, your hire date would be the date that we hire you on directly (no longer through the temp agency).
