About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing and support work order reconciliation. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with payroll, accounting, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Maintain employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, and taxes

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries

  • Reconcile work orders with timekeeping and payroll data to ensure accurate labor costing

  • Investigate and correct variances between payroll, time, and work order systems

  • Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processes

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of payroll experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with timekeeping or work order management systems

  • Multi-state payroll experience
