As a Food Service Worker in our cafeteria, you will play a pivotal role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our customers. You will assist in food preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafeteria environment. This position requires a positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities: + Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including hot meals, sandwiches, salads, and beverages, with utmost attention to quality and presentation. + Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and food safety guidelines to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction. + Maintain a clean and organized cafeteria by adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards. + Restock and replenish food supplies, condiments, and utensils as needed. + Operate and clean kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and coffee machines. + Assist with food inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. + Provide friendly and efficient customer service by addressing customer inquiries, dietary restrictions, and special requests. + Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system. + Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow, timely service, and a positive dining experience for all customers. + Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and welcoming work environment. Qualifications: + Prior experience in a food service role, preferably in a cafeteria, restaurant, or similar setting. + Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. + Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. + Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Basic math skills for handling cash transactions. + Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends. + Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
