JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama.
• Certifications: Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Experience: Internal Medicine residency trained.
• Other Qualifications: Experience with diverse patient populations preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overnight coverage for ED unassigned patients requiring admission.
• Co-manage critical care patients with intensivist support.
• Perform admissions, transfers, and inpatient consults.
• Work collaboratively with subspecialists and support teams.
• Participate in teaching through ACOM and ACGME residency programs.
