Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-MedSurg for a 13-week contract in Birmingham, Alabama — earn up to ($1670 - $1757 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.

• Achieve performance targets and contribute to team goals.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Educate patients and families on health management.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

• Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama with MedSurg experience.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.

• Ability to achieve performance targets and contribute to team goals.

• Strong understanding of patient care plans and documentation.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.

• Proficient in electronic health records and data entry.

• Strong communication skills with patients and families.

• Ability to educate patients and families effectively.

• Experience with quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.

• Willingness to assist in training and orientation of new staff.
