Senior Analyst

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Senior Analyst to support the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develop plans and studies related to SRD Standardization requirements.

• Plan, execute, and manage projects pertaining to HQ activities as required.

• Conduct technical analysis of standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Maintain technical libraries to ensure access to up-to-date reference materials.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by analyzing SRD's technical programs and processes.

• Manage Aeronautical Design Standards (ADS) and SOPs, overseeing development and coordination activities.

• Conduct technical reviews of new and revised standards, specifications, and handbooks.

• Lead initiatives for the Task Tracking System, contributing to product improvement.

• Assist in the training of SRD employees on relevant procedures and standards.

• Take a leadership role in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other technical meetings.

• Coordinate with other services’ airworthiness authorities, field and depot liaison engineers, and fielded unit organizations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least nine (9) years of experience, seven (7) with a master's degree, five (5) with a Ph.D., or a H.S. Diploma with at least 13 years of experience in a related field or hands-on experience in U.S. Army Aviation Air Systems.

• Strong understanding of Army Regulation AR 70-62 Airworthiness of Aircraft Systems. Mil Standards/Specification and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Experience in planning, executing, and managing projects.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
