Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students from preschool through 12th grade in a small, closely-knit school district with fewer than 1,000 students across three schools. The role involves delivering direct therapy and case management for a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, addressing a broad range of communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services and case management for students from PK to 12th grade.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies.
• Manage a caseload spanning three school locations within a three-mile radius.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders.
• Alabama SLP license and Teaching Certification for SLPs required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• School experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered.
• Consideration for two part-time SLPs or out-of-state licensed applicants who obtain proper Alabama certification.

Location: Lanett, AL, serving schools in Lanett, Opelika, and Auburn areas.

• Academic Year 2023/2024 (August 8, 2023 May 23, 2024)
• Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week
• Onsite position covering three nearby school locations
