As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover in Fairfield, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will contribute to security-related operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping put people first every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by communicating clearly with site contacts and assisting with security-related inquiries and/or post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
