About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including financial accounting and reporting, tax preparation, annual audit support, oversight of payroll, and budget preparation and management. The CFO will also be responsible for establishing budget and forecast guidelines, preparing the annual company budget, and assisting in the financial aspects of the contract management process. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are a must, as is the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. The successful candidate will be expected to mentor, train, and develop team members and to work effectively with the company's Australian headquarters. The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, budgeting, and accounting, particularly in a defense contracting environment. Experience with Federal Awards under the Federal Acquisition Regulations, diverse revenue streams, and subsidiary relationships is essential. The CFO will also be involved in generating financial quotes for business development efforts and must have a strong background in all areas of accounting. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should be well-versed in EBITDA, with the ability to discuss, manipulate, and project EBITDA forecasts. The role requires close collaboration with the CEO and executive staff to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support and compliance with all financial regulations.
