Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, including monitoring conditions and reporting changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and document administration accurately.
- Perform routine procedures such as wound care, injections, and basic therapeutic interventions per scope of practice.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring safety and compassionate, respectful care.
- Monitor and chart vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical indicators; respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support care plans and quality outcomes; maintain accurate nursing documentation.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama.
- Completion of an approved LPN program (diploma or certificate).
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and rotate per schedule (3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off).
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening; current up-to-date certifications as required by state and facility.
