Metal Finisher

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Metal Finisher to join our clients team in Huntsville, AL. As a Metal Finisher you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of products by grinding, sanding, and polishing metal parts to prepare them for finishing. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required, and candidates must demonstrate competency in using basic hand and power tools. If interested, apply today for consideration!

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing.
• Trim, Scrape, or deburr objects or parts, using hand tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine finish requirements.
• Assemble items as instructed by the Production Coordinator or Department Lead.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
