Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Calvert, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with on-site contacts, and respond to situations with calm professionalism and strong customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including building interiors, common areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
- Monitor access points and observe conditions that could impact operations; report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and directed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts per established communication protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
