We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional patient care by offering various massage techniques to help alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Your expertise in pain management and deep tissue massage will be crucial in assisting patients with acute pain management. If you are passionate about helping others and have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform massage therapy sessions using various techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities.
- Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide pain management and acute pain relief through therapeutic massage.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques to enhance the benefits of massage therapy.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Must possess an active license as a Massage Therapist within the State of Alabama.
- Must possess liability insurance.
- Proficiency in pain management techniques.
- Deep tissue massage expertise.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
