CTR Group is seeking a Software Developer, Senior for an Engineering & Simulation Firm in the Daleville, AL area. A fully Onsite Position for 4-6 Months with possibility to become a Direct-Hire role for the successful finalist. The Direct-Hire role will be located in Orlando, FL and the candidate would work fully onsite in Orlando.

Open to out-of-state candidates.

Pay Rate: up to $55 per Hour with Benefits for the 4-6 Month Contract. ($110K if finalist is offered the Direct-Hire role).

SUMMARY:

The Senior Software Developer will be involved in Integration, validation, and deployment of complex, multi-disciplinary simulation platforms. Below are experience levels, roles, and responsibilities of the Senior Software Developer:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer, Systems, or related technical field).
• 10+ years of real-time flight simulation systems experience in development, integration, troubleshooting, testing, and debugging of complex technical simulation environments.
• Good knowledge in hardware, software, image generators, synthetic terrain, system networks, audiovisual, cockpit instruments, motion, and control subsystems within high-fidelity avionics training and operational simulation environments.
• Strong knowledge in programming (C++, C#, Python, or Ada).
• Experience with Windows/Linux environments and knowledge in development tools (Visual Studio).
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, managed switches, firewalls).
• Knowledge in simulation networking environments (DIS and HLA).
• Familiar with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, system architecture diagrams, and interface documentation to include interfacing software to hardware.
• Perform system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Support integration plans, procedures, and verification testing.
• Mentor junior integration specialists and technicians.
• US citizenship is required.
