As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol in Vance, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and required information to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
