About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Compunnel Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 35401!
DCH - Travel: MS/Tele
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND .
Our Medical Respiratory Unit is a 42-bed unit primarily specializing in the care of acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Nurses have a 1:6 ratio and provide care to predominantly respiratory patients requiring treatment for pneumonia, shortness of breath, COPD, or other various lung diseases. In addition, this unit will further provide care to a variety of medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, occasional stroke, and surgical patients. Patients in this area benefit from daily rounds with the entire interdisciplinary team. Additionally, this unit houses an 8-bed respiratory step-down unit with a 1:4 nursing ratio.
Education - Required
- Associate's degree in nursing
Certifications – Required
- AHA BLS
- Licenses – Required
- Registered Nurse, State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
- NURSYS
