We are seeking a Collections Representative who brings professionalism, persistence, and compassion to every member interaction. In this vital role, youll help protect the credit unions financial health while supporting members with respect and fairness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Proactively contact members regarding delinquent loans, using established collection strategies and timelines
• Clearly explain account status, payment options, and potential consequences in a professional and respectful manner
• Negotiate and process payment arrangements in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements
• Accurately document all member contacts, actions taken, and outcomes in the system of record
• Monitor delinquent accounts and take appropriate next steps, including followups and escalation when necessary
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations related to collections
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve account issues and maintain data accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of member and organizational information at all times
• Meet established performance standards while balancing service quality and compliance
