Overview
Job Summary
Drive a company vehicle from store to store to maintain and so minor repairs on HVAC, Act as a Handy Man on minor store repairs, Plumbing and electrical issues.
Help maintain Facilities Warehouse
Attend and Participate in Facility Meetings
Be available to assist the Field in Emergency situations
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drive’s from one location to another throughout Jacks footprint
- Manages truck inventory and maintain company vehicle
- Repairs Facility issues in stores as directed by Facilities Manager
- Files and maintains paperwork for inventory, pay card, credit card and Pm compliance
- Perform inspections of equipment for operations via Yoobic App or applicable tracking platforms
- Occasionally work in office as office Tech as needed
- Participate in Team building activities and continued education training
- Represent Jacks in a professional manner
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintains HVAC and plumbing needs – roof top units (RTU s), restroom
- Maintains electrical systems
- Maintains interior and exterior of the building
- Performs Preventative Maintenance checks requiring technical knowledge
- Perform administrative duties utilizing the Quick Base system
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
- Protects company assets
- Handles emergencies
- Maintains inventory accountability
- Maintains security
- Upholds company policy and procedures
- Maintain interior of building- Flooring, plumbing, paint, patch and misc. repairs
- Maintain exterior of building, sidewalk maintenance, parking lot maintenance, painting, lighting
- Replace filters and light bulbs as requested
- Maintain lighting and plumbing equipment- light bulbs, sinks, faucets etc.
- Perform PM checks as assigned
- Identify opportunities to impact Energy Consumption
- Adheres to Facility Dress Code (uniform shirts provided
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
- GED or equivalent
- Frequent bending, twisting, walking, reaching, lifting to 50 pounds, Walks and stands entire shift on tile floor
- Administrative skills
- Interacts verbally with customers and employees in a professional and friendly way
- Taking and giving direction
- Good personal hygiene
- Punctuality
- High energy level
- High tolerance for STRESS
- Self-directness
- Ability to follow a system
- Ability to make decisions
- Safely climbing and working on top of a ladder up to 24’ off the ground
- Ability to maintain and operate power tools from small to large equipment.
- Ability to legally and safety operate a motor vehicle.
- Basic knowledge of computers and other technical equipment.
- Working in and outside environment that could include extreme heat, Cold, rain, snow, and other harsh environments.
Skill/Experience Requirements
Candidate must be proficient in 3 or more areas of the following:
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing
- Knowledge of Lighting, Power systems and Energy consumption
- Knowledge of Communication systems
- Knowledge of basic Interior and Exterior building maintenance
