Intermediate Business Analyst

We have an outstanding Contract position for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join a leading Company located in the Redstone Arsenal, AL surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

• Devise procedures to solve complex problems, including analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications
• Provide consultation on complex projects while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
• Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills
• Support procurement technology compliance activities with new technologies and upgrades to existing solutions
• Provide data analysis and process improvement support for internal Procurement operations throughout the section
• Provide PMO support for the unit, including strategic planning efforts across the section

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• MS Excel (for data analysis)
• MS PowerPoint (briefings and policy slick sheets)
• MS Word (review of step-by-steps, SOPs, and policy guides)
• MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, and BI)
• Outlook (should know how to create rulesets, manage distros and shared mailboxes, etc)
• SharePoint (2013 and 2019)
• Financial systems familiarization (should understand workflows for transaction management)
• Experience comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents
• Ability to present information and respond effectively to sensitive issues
• Ability to solve problems involving complex situations
• Ability to draft clear communications for distribution across multiple teams within an organization
• Experience with design, creation, and implementation of applications created using MS PowerApps
• Experience with design, creation, and implementation of tools/visual displays using MS Power BI
• Experience supporting multiple lines of effort across multiple workstreams (particularly within finance/procurement organizations)
