Job Title: Bartender

Location: The Fennec Birmingham

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team at the Fennec. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving our customers a wide variety of drinks while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience closing is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages to customers
- Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and other bar supplies
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations
- Engage with customers to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience
- Provide recommendations for drinks and food items to customers
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth bar operations

Qualifications:

- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and drink recipes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- TIPS or equivalent certification preferred
