Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Athens, AL

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Athens, Alabama. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Provide direct therapy services to address speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
• Participate in meetings related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and student interventions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
• Certification or licensure to practice as an SLP in school settings preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational environments is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology and educational standards
