Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents under supervision of an RN or charge nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration per policy
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in condition, and report findings promptly
- Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and other standard treatments
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and communicate with the interdisciplinary team

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (Alabama) or ability to practice as an LPN in Alabama
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in or knowledge of long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift and adapt to a rotating schedule
- Ability to pass background check and applicable screenings
