Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, and safe, environment for a government facility. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall appearance and hygiene of our clients’ spaces, ensuring they are pristine and well-maintained. You must be responsible, and provide proof of transportation for employment

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques
Conduct janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Assist with industrial cleaning tasks and facilities maintenance as needed to support operational efficiency
Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to ensure a safe work environment
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing
Conduct light duty maintenance tasks when required to enhance facility upkeep from the required scope of services in place
Worker must be 100 % reliable for work and own a working mobile phone
Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, and waxing floors
Strong understanding of cleaning procedures for residential and commercial spaces
Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
Reliable transportation and a good work record are required
