Locums Dothan, Alabama | Pediatric Hospitalist (IMLC Accepted)Per Diem | Week On/Week Off | Call From Home | Starting January Availability / Schedule
- Start: January and ongoing
- Schedule: Week on / Week off
- Call: From home
- Hospital Coverage: 6-bed pediatric floor (expanding to 8 beds in 2025)
- Work-Life Balance: 26 weeks off per year
- Board Certified in Pediatrics (BC only; no BE) REQUIRED
- Active Alabama license or active IMLC REQUIRED
- Clinically active within last 12 months REQUIRED
- Minimum 6 months of specialty-specific clinical experience REQUIRED
- Inpatient pediatric floor management (6 beds)
- ED consults
- Newborn couplet care
- Supported by NNPs
- No NICU coverage (separate team)
- No nursery call or rounds
- On-site: Pediatric Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Cardiology
- Additional support: Pediatric Orthopedics, Pediatric Surgery (adult surgeons)
- Access to UAB pediatric subspecialists for consults
- Staffing model: 2 Pediatric Hospitalists
