As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Coaling, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will be part of a team that puts people first, values reliability and integrity, and brings an agile, innovative approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to confirm that visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors follow site entry procedures, reporting concerns involving restricted areas or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment areas, shipping and receiving zones, and high-traffic workspaces for potential security-related issues, then reporting findings through required logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
