🧺 Position Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping , the Laundry Aide is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and returning linens and clothing to designated areas and/or residents, ensuring all items are clean, well-maintained, and handled with care.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

1. Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
2. Ensure all laundry items are returned in excellent condition
3. Follow proper laundry, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
4. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
5. Support overall housekeeping operations as needed

🧾 Qualifications:

1. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
2. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
3. Ability to perform essential job functions and meet physical and sensory requirements
