Langston Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary technician to join our team! We are located in Gulf Shores in a brand new state-of-the-art facility equipped with a full in-house lab, advanced imaging and surgical capabilities, and we are excited to grow our team with passionate veterinary professionals.
Position: Technician
Employment type: Full-Time
Starting Pay:$18 / hour (higher pay possible based on experience)
Preferred Qualifications
* At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing patient diagnostics and treatments
* Drawing blood and placing IV catheters
* Monitoring patients under anesthesia
* Assisting in surgery
* Assisting with advanced procedures including endoscopy and CT scans
* Providing treatment and care for hospitalized patients
