Instrumentation Engineer
We are conducting a confidential search for an Instrumentation Engineer to support industrial engineering projects based out of Birmingham, Alabama . This role will focus on instrumentation system design, specification development, and technical support for industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support instrumentation engineering for industrial projects
- Develop and review instrument specifications, valve sizing, and control documentation
- Assist with P&ID reviews, instrument selection, and system design
- Coordinate with process, electrical, and project teams
- Support field troubleshooting, installation, and execution activities
Qualifications
- 5–20 years of instrumentation engineering experience
- Experience in heavy industrial or process environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of instrument specifications, valve sizing, and industrial controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
