Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determines need for repairs by road test, by use of mechanical testing devices, by questioning customer about vehicle's performance, or by visual inspection of vehicle.
• Estimates cost of repair and works within budget.
• Maintains a detailed repair log with costs of parts and labor for repaired vehicles.
• Reviews work tickets and turns in invoices to Office Manager to ensure payment in a timely manner.
• Directly supervise the mechanic.
• Shop for parts online or local vendors.
• Communicates repair issues with Manager and customers.
• Inspects new inventory vehicles.
• Compares shops to find the lowest repair costs, protects company interests.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.
• Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values, and standards of ethics.
• Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion.
