Network Automation Engineer
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Network Automation Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Montgomery, AL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scripts to reduce down-timein network operations, improve speed and accuracyof network changes, assist in diagnosisand remediation ofadvanced network problems, and drive innovative solutions to reduce failure.
- Automate network monitoring and alertstriage as part of proactiveapproach to maintaining highlevel of availability.
- Develop automation solutions for configuring and monitoring networking devices to reduce manual tasks and improve service delivery and consistency.
- Streamline existing processes and design new workflows with network automation for routers, VPNs, load-balancers, firewalls, servers, and switching hardware to maximize network efficiency and security.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years' experience with scripting languages to includePython, Ansible, PowerShell, and BAT to automate network device provisioning process, execute network changes andobtain data collection for reporting or analysis.
- Must have at least one of these: CCNP Collaboration
- CCNP Data Center CCNP Enterprise CCNP Service Provider
Desired Qualifications:
- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure CCIE Service Provider
- CCIE Data Center CCIE Collaboration
