Genesis Technical is seeking a Sr. Electrical CAD Operator for a contract position in Mobile, AL.

Mobile, AL. - 6+ mo with strong potential for long term

Position General Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years in Chemical or Petro-Chem Industries preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD

Position General Requirements:

• Working from 3D Modeling extractions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Experience with document control tools (Adept, PlantDoc, or others) and assembling drawing packages.
• Experience in creating scale drawings and cutting background drawings from 3D model
• Be able to produce high volumes of drawings, bulk editing and batch plotting.
• Experience with managing drawings number system assigned to multiple projects and coordinating packages.
• Experience with updating drawings for cable trays plans, underground ductbank, lighting plans, power plans, grounding plans, motor schematics/wiring diagrams, communication plans, installation details, instrument loop sheets, and PID drawings
• Efficiently work with engineers and designers to complete drawings and packages in a timely manner.
• Will require working on-site mostly, depending on project: 3-5 days week.
