Job Overview:
A leading Automotive Manufacturer based in Athens, Alabama is seeking a skilled Accounting Administrator to support and strengthen daily accounting operations. This position is ideal for a motivated professional looking to build on their accounting experience while gaining exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role offers meaningful opportunities for growth, hands-on involvement in core financial processes, and the ability to contribute to a team focused on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct costing and pricing analysis.
- Generate and post AP and AR invoices.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing AP and AR aging reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting files and records.
- Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers as needed.
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 3 years of accounting experience OR a degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

- Detail-oriented with excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities.
- Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
