Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current license or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
• Effective communication abilities for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop targeted treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Adjust and adapt therapy approaches to meet each student's unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
• Flexibility to support various caseloads, with assignments to be confirmed during the interview process
