We are seeking a Part Time Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, maintenance general ledgers, process ACH, draft and debit card batches, and work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy and consistency with daily work. This is a part-time position with regular hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Follow policy and procedures
- Track and record deliveries to customers
- Support audits and exams
- Process ACH exceptions in accordance with NACHA Operating Rules
- Post daily journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
- Ensure daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in data entry/General Ledger maintenance
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
