Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Framer with a broad range of construction experience to join our team. This position requires someone who is not only proficient in framing (wood and/or metal) but also comfortable assisting in other areas of construction as needed.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with others, and shows up ready to work every day with reliable transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rough and finish framing, including walls, floors, roofs, and trusses
Assist in other construction tasks such as drywall, siding, basic plumbing, minor electrical, trim work, and general labor
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Work collaboratively with team members and follow directions from supervisors
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum [4] years of framing experience (residential and/or commercial)
Additional skills in general construction strongly preferred
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
Own basic hand tools (preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license
Experience in remodeling and finish carpentry
Ability to work on small crews
