Flexo Press Operator

**Job Title: Flexo Press Operator** **Job Description** As a Flexo Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating up to 8 color flexographic printing press, inline die cutting, and finishing inspection according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety, and quality guidelines. You will need to solve printing problems, make necessary adjustments, and ensure the mechanical operation of the press maintains optimal quality, registration, color, and production speed. A good understanding of inks is required to print line, halftone, and four-color process copy on a variety of substrates. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate flexographic printing press with up to 8 colors. + Perform inline die cutting and finishing inspection. + Follow written and verbal instructions as well as established procedures and guidelines. + Solve printing problems and make mechanical adjustments. + Maintain quality, registration, color, and production speed at optimum levels. + Understand inks and print various types of copy on multiple substrates. **Essential Skills** + Experience with flexographic printing press operation. + Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery. + Mechanical aptitude. + Good understanding of printing inks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating large machinery and equipment. + Fine-motor skills and ability to work well with hands. + Detail-oriented and ability to work independently with little supervision. + Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Basic knowledge of computer hardware. + Initiative to assist others and contribute actively. **Why Work Here?** This role offers an opportunity to work in a climate-controlled, quiet facility with great room for growth and supportive management. **Work Environment** You will be working in a climate-controlled, quiet facility that provides a comfortable setting for focused work. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
