ERP Project Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead critical SAP Implementation finance-related initiatives for our client in Huntsville, Alabama. This long-term contract position, spanning 9 months to a year, requires a highly skilled individual with strong attention to detail and technical expertise in SAP and Central Finance. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project execution, from implementation to post-go-live support. Responsibilities: - Oversee the end-to-end implementation of ERP projects, focusing on finance system conversions and configurations. - Drive decision-making processes within the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and project milestones. - Utilize technical expertise in SAP and Central Finance to address challenges and provide hands-on configuration support. - Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including the creation and management of testing scripts. - Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a seamless go-live experience and provide ongoing post-implementation support. - Manage periodic travel to client locations for on-site assessments and collaboration. - Coordinate rollout plans to align with project objectives and timelines. - Ensure adherence to financial system requirements and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. - Maintain clear communication with all parties involved to ensure alignment and transparency. - Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks proactively. Requirements - Extensive experience in ERP project management, particularly in finance system implementations. - Strong technical knowledge of SAP FICO and Central Finance, including hands-on configuration capabilities. - Proven ability to lead and manage complex system conversion projects. - Expertise in creating and managing testing processes, including script development. - Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills to guide teams effectively. - Willingness to travel periodically for client engagements. - Familiarity with financial system requirements and rollout planning. - Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks.
