Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our dedicated team at Elba Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our patients. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of nursing operations , including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes

• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accrediting bodies, such as CMS and The Joint Commission

• Develop and manage budgets, product lines, and equipment purchases

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation , including electronic medical records and incident reports

• Foster a positive and respectful work environment , promoting teamwork, communication, and open feedback

• Participate in strategic planning to drive growth and innovation, ensuring our center remains at the forefront of patient care and rehabilitation

Requirements:

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent leadership role

• Active RN license in the state of Alabama

• Strong leadership and management skills , with the ability to motivate and empower teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and staff

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations , including HIPAA and OSHA
