As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Field Security in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm systems, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
