Quality Engineer
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support and improve product and supplier quality, lead corrective actions, and participate in new product introduction. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, suppliers, and quality control to ensure products meet requirements and are ready for production.
Key Responsibilities
Support new product development and quality conformance activities.
Develop and execute test plans; document and report results.
Lead Material Review Board (MRB) and drive internal and supplier corrective actions.
Support receiving inspection and update inspection procedures as needed.
Conduct supplier quality audits and manage supplier quality issues.
Perform FMEA, root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement.
Evaluate returned product and lead actions to reduce recurrence.
Contribute to environmental and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or related field.
2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO/industry standards), problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement.
Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; occasional travel required.
