Job Title: Tooling Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off schedule. This role is crucial in working directly with mold and die sets, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. The position offers a highly competitive starting salary based on experience, with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain motors, pneumatics, hydraulic equipment, and production machinery.
• Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and operation manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Utilize precision measuring devices and testing instruments to ensure equipment accuracy.
• Perform die casting and machining tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repair of molds and dies, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve technical issues.

Essential Skills

• At least 4 years of experience in die casting or machining.
• Proficiency in mold tooling and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with die setting, die casting, and die maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and operation manuals.
• Familiarity with precision measuring devices and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mold repair and tool and die maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

This position is on the NIGHT shift with a schedule of 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off from 5 PM to 5 AM. The work environment includes working with advanced technologies in a toolroom setting. Safety and collaboration are prioritized, and employees are encouraged to contribute to process improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $79040.00/yr.
