CT / Rad Tech Job Details – Fredericksburg, VA

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel CT / Rad Tech contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab, Level II Trauma Center
• Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia (22401)
• Start Date: September 23, 2025
• End Date: December 23, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2450 - $2510
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: STEMI call required (1 weekend/month, 5 weekdays/month)
• Scrubs: Provided
• Charting System: Epic
• Parking: Free onsite parking

CT / Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Active Virginia or Compact State Radiology License (temporary license accepted for Mary Washington Hospital)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCI RCIS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (first-time travelers welcome)
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
• Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Completion of up to 8 hours of onboarding modules within 1 week of signing

Key Responsibilities – CT / Rad Tech

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab, including CT scans and radiology studies
• Assist physicians and clinical staff during cardiac procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic
• Respond to STEMI calls as scheduled
• Float to other hospital units or affiliate hospitals as needed
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance guidelines
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment
