Digital Experience Design UX/UI Designer

Kforce's client in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Digital Experience Design UX/UI Designer to join a collaborative Experience Design (XD) team focused on delivering user-centered, intuitive, and impactful digital experiences. Summary: This role will partner closely with technology teams, product stakeholders, and business partners to design and build an associate-facing application within a highly collaborative Agile environment. The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level UX/UI designer with strong experience creating enterprise applications, building wireframes and prototypes in Figma, and partnering cross-functionally to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences. Candidates must be located in or able to work a hybrid schedule from one of the following locations, Charlotte, Birmingham, or Atlanta. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design activities to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences for internal associate-facing applications
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including technology, product, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
• Translate complex business requirements and functional specifications into design concepts and roadmaps
• Design information architecture, user interfaces, and interaction models
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, interaction models, and low-to-high fidelity prototypes
• Develop and maintain detailed UI specifications for development teams
• Ensure designs align with established design systems and industry best practices
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Participate in observational and usability research activities
• Work with accessibility partners to ensure designs meet accessibility standards and requirements
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, PI Planning, retrospectives, and Inspect & Adapt sessions
• High School diploma/GED and ten (10) years of related post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience in experience design, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and six (6) years of relevant experience in experience design
• Strong UX/UI design experience in a mid-to-senior level role
• Experience creating wireframes and user interface designs
• Experience using Figma
• Portfolio showcasing design process, UX thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technology and business teams
• Experience designing associate-facing or enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of user interface design, interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, technical leads, and business stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe Agile environments
• Strong user-centered design mindset
• Ability to balance business requirements, technical constraints, and user needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently manage priorities and drive design initiatives

• Banking, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industry experience
• Experience contributing to or working within design systems
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch and Adobe products
