Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a respected home health agency to fill a 13-week contract position for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Birmingham, AL . This full-time role offers a reliable Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM 5:00 PM), with minimal weekend and on-call rotation (typically once per month). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health, expertise in OASIS documentation, and proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).

• Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
• Hours: Full-Time, Scheduled 40 hours per week - 32 hours guaranteed
• Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
• On Call: Typically, one weekend per month
• Productivity: 25 per week
• Mileage: .48c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
• Compensation: Negotiated directly with client based off experience and territory budget; paid hourly - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly pay

Job Duties:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients in their homes
• Conduct thorough assessments using Oasis documentation
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Homecare Homebase
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and protocols

Requirements:

• Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
• At least 1 year of home health experience with geriatric patients
• Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase
• Oasis Certified strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Completion of Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer
