Each year Huron Valley Steel processes close to a billion pounds of material from automobile shredder operators. The metals recovered include aluminum, copper, brass, zinc and stainless steel.

General Labor Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm )

Steel Pickers - Hand Sorting

• You are required to be available 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
• You will be working outside (hot, cold and dusty environment)
• General Labor
• You will be working in an area that is NOT air conditioned
• You will be separating metals on a conveyor belt by hand- area will exposed to the environment
• Hand sorting metal
• Requires to lift up to 50 lbs
• Steel toes boots required

General Labor Qualifications:

Requirements for Metal Steel Pickers (General Labor):

• Positions available for 2nd and 3rd shift
• High School Diploma or GED NOT required
• Must be available to work all shifts
• Must stand for entire shift
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Steel toe shoes required

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
