Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to drive business growth through strategic development initiatives, data management, and customer engagement. This role combines business acumen to support our expansion in the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Pipeline Management

• Research and identify new business opportunities, potential customers, and partners
• Maintain and analyze pipeline data to track opportunities from lead generation through contract award
• Support proposal development step review and customer presentations
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions like step reviews and go/no go decisions

Information Systems & Data Management

• Oversee SharePoint architecture for business development materials, ensuring organized document management and team collaboration
• Manage GovWin database for government contracting opportunities, including opportunity tracking, competitor analysis, and bid/no-bid decision support
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights on business development metrics
• Ensure data integrity across all business development platforms and systems
• Establish and build a past performance database and resume database, working with HR

Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Coordinate marketing campaigns and events to support lead generation efforts
• Manage customer relationship databases and communication workflows
• Schedule and plan customer meetings, conferences, and networking events
• Setup and assist KODA managers for BD IT/Teams meetings
• Support content creation for press releases, proposals, newsletters, marketing materials, communications, the company website, and related materials.
• Manage Linkedin/social media presence and monitor partner and customer media for responses.
• Track and analyze customer engagement metrics and BD effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• Proficiency in SharePoint administration and customization
• Experience with CRM systems and database management
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into business insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of digital communication tools and platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of business development processes and sales cycles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with GovWin or similar government contracting platforms
• Knowledge of federal procurement processes
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Project management experience or certification
• Previous internship or coursework in business development or sales
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
