Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Gadsden, AL. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in a dynamic school environment with a growing caseload and active collaboration with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language pathology services on-site to students, managing a caseload currently between 30-35 students, with anticipated growth up to 70 for the next school year.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each students needs.
• Collaborate and hold meetings with school staff and parents to evaluate progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in team planning and contribute to the development of comprehensive support strategies for students.

Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school-based experience.
• Proven track record working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to providing services exclusively on-site as virtual services are not supported for this position.
• Availability to begin interviews immediately for the upcoming school year starting in 2026.
