We are a Heavy Equipment & Drilling Division located in West Alabama and are looking for serious machinists (Manual and CNC) who can program, operate independently and take ownership of the machine department.

We are an established 25+ year contractor building and supporting our own fleet of high-value drilling and tunnel equipment. We operate a 16,000 sq ft climate-controlled machine shop attached to a 60,000 sq ft fabrication facility. Extremely clean and organized.

We design and build modifications in-house to make our equipment outperform what can be purchased. Our machines range from $1.5M–$8M and we improve and rebuild them regularly.

Equipment (Partial List)

• Haas VF-1600 class VMC

• Haas UMC-750 (5-axis)

• Haas ST-30 / ST-35 dual spindle lathes

• Haas TL-4

• Large manual lathes and boring mills

• Overhead crane support

• Planned purchase of larger CNC equipment once the right candidate has been hired

The Work

• Large weldments and heavy components

• Repair and redesign of drilling equipment

• Precision bore work, shafts, housings

• Low-volume premium lockout swivel production

• Direct collaboration with experienced field team

• Cutting API Oilfield Thread

What We Expect

• Strong Mastercam programming ability

• Can set up and run jobs independently

• Heavy part / oilfield / industrial repair experience preferred

• Mechanical thinker, not just a code writer

• Steady pace and consistent output

Compensation

• Pay is negotiable and based on experience

• Positions available from entry level to expert level for Manual, CNC, and Programmer

• Base pay for entry level starts at $35.00 per hour

• Base pay for mid-level starts at $45.00 per hour

• Base pay for expert level is negotiable

• Overtime available (steady, not chaotic)

• Sign-on on bonus earned after 90 days of employment
